In this case the tubular structure(action frame)had to be replaced(left of photo).
While replacing all action parts, a line simulating the striking point on a glass panel is a full proof gear when precision is the goal.
Bringing back the parts together on the new frame.
Rarely visible, the damper system has now to be replaced in it's location behind the keyboard.
Ounce cleaned and polished the agraffes are screwed back in the plate.
Gluing the new felts on the damper heads.
Treble strings installed.
Installing the bass strings.
