New pinblock.
In this case a duplicate of the original pinblock(top)had to be made in the shop.
Future locations of the new tuning pins.
A six degree angle will withstand the string pull.
Any movements whatsoever of the pinblock fitted in the plate before it is screwed in, should be tolerated if a stable tuning is the goal.
Drilling of the striker(top)to anchor the pinblock in the cabinet.
Installing the dowels in the pinblock true the stricker.
The pinblock is glued and clamped in the piano.
