In a dry area(below 15% humidity), new pins and strings are installed.
3 different steel alloys are used in this improved string scale.
New felts, pins and strings.
With this tool, each string is either pull up or push down to be leveled with the 2 or 3 strings of the same note.
So that the hammer makes contact with every string of a note simultaneously.
Steinway Sound = Steinway hammers...
To perfectly match string's angles, drilling or boring off hammers is done at the shop.
