Old finish removed.
Damaged surface must be brought even to obtain futur mirror finish.
Music rack may be lost or destroy during first or second world war. was reproduced on paper from a photo of same year model.
Then transposed on dry wood.
Refinishing the new music rack.
Half of new hammers installed, one of the old originals can be seen in the middle.
Very light sanding to remove all imperfections.
New hammers supplied by Steinway.
