After the soundboard is repaired, the flip side is cleaned and revarnished.
New and old pinblocks side by side.
Screws and tuning pin's holes will be recorded (marked) on the new pinblock from below.
Boring the new pinblock at a 6 degree angle to secure pin's position against tension of strings.
Testing torque of tuning pins versus drill size.
Damaged plate is sanded and repaired.
