Probably the most precise way to record the string lengths by placing a piece of wrapping paper over the bridges and then transfer all datas to be precisely measured later on a flat surface.
To improve tuning stability and string inharmonicity in small pianos, plain wire is replaced by properly designed wounded strings on the tenor bridge. To do so one must drill the plate to install extra hitch pins.
